Stain-Resistant Flooring
Carpet: Solution-Dyed Nylon is highly stain-resistant and easy to clean. Hybrid Flooring: Resistant to stains, scratches, and fading. Vinyl Planking: Naturally durable and easy to maintain.
Old Flooring Removal
When possible we recycle and reuse. Old wool carpets are reused for weedmatting and good condition carpet is rehomed to families in need within our local communities. We provide a complete uplift and disposal service, so your old flooring is removed and responsibly disposed of, leaving your space clean and ready for your new floors.
Supply-Only Options
We also offer supply-only solutions. Contact your local Jansen Flooring to arrange delivery or collection of your chosen flooring products.
How Do I Clean My Carpet?
Regular vacuuming is essential to extend the life of your carpet. Dust, debris, pet hair, and spills can embed into the fibres and backing, causing wear over time. For liquid spills: Immediately blot excess liquid with a colourfast cloth or paper towel. For thicker spills (food, mud, etc.): Use a flat, blunt object to gently lift the debris—never rub, as this pushes the spill deeper into the carpet fibres. For detailed care instructions, always refer to the manufacturer's guidelines specific to your carpet fibre.
What is an OZ or KG Rating?
The OZ or KG rating refers to the weight of the carpet fibre and is a key factor when comparing products. A higher OZ or KG rating means more fibre content, heavier, thicker carpet, and greater durability with a more luxurious feel. Understanding the OZ or KG rating helps ensure you're comparing like-for-like carpets when reviewing quotes or selecting your flooring.
